These terms are an agreement between you and HiroHunt (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the service you accept them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use HiroHunt.
01What HiroHunt does
HiroHunt is an AI agent that helps you look for jobs. You upload a resume and tell us what you’re hunting for. The agent finds open roles, scores how well they fit you, prepares applications and sends them on your behalf. Replies from employers come back into Signals. We also offer writing tools and an interview practice space (the Dojo).
HiroHunt is a tool, not a recruiter or an employer. We don’t represent you to employers, and we don’t promise interviews, offers or any particular result.
02Your account
- You sign in with Google, LinkedIn or GitHub. You must be at least 16 and able to enter a binding agreement.
- You’re responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us quickly if you think someone else has got in.
- Everything you give us has to be true: your resume, work history, qualifications and right to work. Applications go out under your name.
- Every account gets an email address that applications use, so employer replies reach your Signals feed. It only works for that purpose.
03Applying for you
When you start a hunt you authorize the agent to apply to roles on your behalf, within the settings you choose. Some applications are sent automatically; others wait for your approval, depending on your settings.
- Accounts on hiring sites. When a site needs an account before you can apply, you authorize the agent to create one in your name with your HiroHunt address and a password it sets, to confirm it with the code or link the site emails to your HiroHunt inbox, and to sign in with it again later. The passwords are kept for the agent and aren’t shown in the app; Agent settings lists which sites have an account, and you can take one over with the site’s “forgot password”, which emails your HiroHunt address.
- Accuracy. The agent tailors how your real experience is presented. It is built never to invent experience, but you should review your profile and anything you approve. You own what is sent in your name.
- Matching is a judgment call. Scores and labels (apply, review, skip) are AI estimates. They can be wrong, and a role can close, change or be removed before we reach it.
- Employer sites differ. Some employers block automated applications, require extra steps, or ask questions we can’t answer for you. When an application can’t be completed we’ll show it that way and won’t charge you a credit for it.
- Third-party terms. Job boards and employers have their own rules. By asking the agent to apply for you, you accept that it acts the way you would when filling in their forms.
04Plans, credits and billing
HiroHunt runs on one credit balance. One credit is one application. With “Tailor each application” switched on, the agent tailors your resume and writes a cover letter for each job, and an application costs 3 credits, charged only when it’s sent. Tailoring a resume yourself in Studio costs 2 credits. Cover letters are free, up to 20 a day. The Dojo uses the same credits.
- Free plan: new accounts get 5 free credits. Without an Agent plan, the agent sends up to 5 applications in total; to keep it applying after that, you need an Agent plan. The free plan is one per person. An account that looks like a repeat of an earlier one — the same browser, many sign-ups from the same network, or the same phone number or email on the resume — doesn’t get the free applications or the free credits it hasn’t used. If you think we got it wrong, write to us.
- Studio Pro is the writing and practice kit: tailoring a resume — yours and the agent’s — costs no credits with it, within fair use of 30 a day, and it adds credits each period for the Dojo. It doesn’t include the auto-apply agent; that needs an Agent plan.
- Student price: if you’re a student, you can verify the email address your university or school gave you in your Profile with a code we send to it (we recognise .edu and .ac addresses and universities worldwide; if yours isn’t recognised, write to us and we check it by hand). A verified account gets 50% off every plan, Agent plans and Studio Pro, at every renewal for as long as that subscription runs. A verification counts for new checkouts for 12 months, and one school email can verify only one account. The student price doesn’t combine with other offers, and top-up packs are full price. If a verification was misused, such as an address that isn’t yours, we can end the student price from the next renewal.
- Plans renew automatically for the period you chose (monthly, quarterly or yearly) until you cancel, and add credits to your balance each period.
- Top-ups are extra credit packs and are only available while you have an active plan.
- Credits don’t expire while your account is open. Credits have no cash value, can’t be transferred and can’t be exchanged for money.
- Referrals: when someone you invited through your link signs up and buys their first subscription, you and they each get 50 credits. What you can earn as the inviter is capped at 500 credits; your friend’s credits don’t count toward your cap. Invites for yourself, accounts that already had a plan, and plans we give for free don’t count. We can withhold or remove referral credits if we find abuse, such as fake accounts.
- Payments are handled by Creem, our reseller and Merchant of Record. You buy on Creem’s secure checkout; Creem charges your card, adds VAT or sales tax where it applies and sends your receipts, and its terms apply to the payment itself. Your card details go to Creem, never to us. “Manage billing” in your account opens Creem’s portal, where you can change your card and download receipts and invoices.
- Prices are shown before you pay. The weekly price on our pricing page is a way of showing the cost; you’re billed the amount shown under it, for the full period. VAT or sales tax is added at checkout where the law requires.
- Price changes never apply to a period you’ve already paid for. We’ll tell you before a renewal if the price is going to change.
- Changing plans: moving to a plan that costs more per month starts it right away — your card on file is charged the difference for the rest of the current period, and a new period starts with the new plan’s credits. Moving to a plan that costs less, or switching Studio Pro off, takes effect at your next renewal, and nothing is charged now.
- Cancelling is done in your account settings. Your plan stops renewing and you keep your plan and credits until the end of the period you paid for. You can also pause a plan instead: your agent stops right away, billing pauses when the paid period ends, and the plan restarts and renews three months later. We email you a few days before it restarts.
05No refunds
We don’t give refunds after you buy. That covers plans, renewals, top-up packs and any credits that came with them, whether or not you’ve used them.
Because applications are sent as soon as credits are used and AI work is paid for the moment it runs, a purchase can’t be undone once it’s made.
- Cancelling stops future renewals. It doesn’t return money for a period that has already started.
- Not getting interviews or offers isn’t grounds for a refund. We can’t control how employers respond.
- Forgetting to cancel before a renewal isn’t grounds for a refund. Cancel before the renewal date, and you can see that date in your account.
What we do fix
- A credit is only used when an application is actually sent. If one can’t be completed, you aren’t charged for it.
- The credits for tailoring a resume are returned if the AI fails to produce one. If the agent can’t tailor an application, it sends it with your resume for 1 credit.
- Dojo credits are returned if an interview ends before you answer anything, and unused call time is released when a call ends early.
- If you were charged twice for the same thing, or a billing error is on our side, write to us and we’ll correct it.
If a payment is refunded or disputed with your bank, the credits it added are taken back from your balance (as far as they’re still there), and your agent may be paused until the dispute is settled.
Where the law of your country gives you a right to a refund that can’t be waived by contract, nothing in these terms takes that right away.
06Interview Dojo
The Dojo lets you practice with an AI interviewer by chat or by voice. A chat interview costs 5 credits. A voice call costs 5 credits for each minute you start, and calls shorter than 20 seconds are free. Calls are limited to 15 minutes.
The interviewer, the coaching notes, the score and the sample answers are all AI-generated practice material. They’re a guide, not a prediction of how a real interview will go. If you use voice, we keep a transcript of the call so we can give you feedback; we ask our voice provider not to store the audio.
07Acceptable use
Please don’t:
- Give us false or misleading information, or apply with someone else’s identity or credentials.
- Use HiroHunt to spam employers, to apply for roles you have no intention of taking, or to harass anyone.
- Try to break, overload or reverse-engineer the service, or get around credit limits, plan limits or security.
- Resell the service or share one account between several people.
- Upload anything unlawful, or content you don’t have the right to use.
We may limit or suspend an account that breaks these rules, or that puts the service or other people at risk.
08Your content
Your resume, profile and answers stay yours. You give us permission to store, process and send them as needed to run the service for you: parsing your resume, matching you to jobs, tailoring and submitting applications, and showing you the results. We explain how data is handled in our Privacy Policy.
HiroHunt, its design, software and brand belong to us. You get a personal, non-exclusive right to use the service while your account is open. Documents the tools produce for you, like tailored resumes and cover letters, are yours to use.
09Warranty and liability
HiroHunt is provided “as is”. We work hard to keep it running and accurate, but we can’t promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free, that every application will be accepted, or that you will get a job.
To the fullest extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for lost opportunities, lost income, or indirect or consequential losses. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 3 months before the claim arose. Nothing here limits liability that can’t be limited by law.
10Ending your account
You can stop using HiroHunt at any time, and you can delete your account yourself in Agent settings → Your data. Deleting it cancels any running plan, and remaining credits are lost. We can end or suspend an account that breaks these terms; when we do that for serious misuse, remaining credits are forfeited. If we shut the service down, we’ll give you notice.
Sections that should reasonably survive, including no refunds, liability and your content permissions for work already done, continue after your account closes.
11Changes and contact
We may update these terms as the product grows. When we make a material change we’ll tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect, and the date at the top of this page will change. If you keep using HiroHunt after that date, you accept the new terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the place where HiroHunt is established, and courts there can hear disputes, unless your local consumer law says otherwise.
