About HiroHunt

HiroHunt is an AI agent that applies to jobs for people. This page says what it does, what it won’t do and where it can fall short.

Last updated October 8, 2026

01What HiroHunt is

HiroHunt is an AI agent for job seekers. You upload your resume and say what you’re looking for. The agent finds open roles, scores how well each fits your resume and applies — with your resume, or with a resume and cover letter tailored to that job if you switch tailoring on. Replies from employers come back into one feed, called Signals. You can start free: the agent sends your first 5 applications at no cost, and keeps going on one of the 5 Agent plans.

02Who’s behind it

HiroHunt is built by its two co-founders. Write to [email protected] and a person will answer.

03How it works

  • Sign in and upload your resume. HiroHunt reads it and builds your profile. Anything it got wrong, you can edit, and your edits win over what was read.
  • Say what to hunt for. Target roles, countries or remote regions, and how much control you want: ask me first, smart (auto-apply above a match score you choose) or full auto.
  • The agent matches new jobs to your resume and labels each one apply, review or skip.
  • It applies to the strong matches and sends the rest to you to decide. Applications use a HiroHunt email address, so employer replies and verification codes reach one place.

One credit balance covers everything: 1 credit is 1 application, or 3 with “Tailor each application” switched on. Tailoring a resume yourself in Studio costs 2 credits (free with Studio Pro), cover letters are free, and the Interview Dojo uses 5 credits per chat interview and 5 per voice-call minute.

04What it never does

  • It never invents titles, degrees, employers or experience. Tailoring only reorders and rephrases what is already true about you.
  • It never sells your data, and it never sends anything while you’ve paused the agent.
  • In “ask me first” mode, it never sends an application you haven’t approved.

05Where it falls short

  • Match scores and tailored text are automated and can be wrong. Review what matters.
  • Some hiring sites need a person, such as your own login, a CAPTCHA or an unusual question. The agent never signs in as you, so it hands those applications to you.
  • HiroHunt can’t promise interviews or offers. It saves you the applying, not the hiring decision.

06Your data

Your resume and profile go to employers only when an application is sent. Resume analysis runs with AI provider data retention switched off. You can download everything or delete your account any time from Agent settings → Your data. The Privacy Policy lists who sees what, and the Terms explain credits, billing and the no-refund rule.
