Does HiroHunt really apply for me?
Yes. Once you set up a hunt, the agent finds matching roles, picks your resume — or tailors one and writes a cover letter for the job, if you switch that on — fills in the form from your Agent Memory and submits it. When a site needs your own login or a step only you can do, it hands that application to you. Every application lands in your Pipeline.
How do credits work?
One balance covers everything. Each application the agent sends uses one credit, or 3 with “Tailor each application” switched on; in the Dojo a mock interview uses 5 and a voice call 5 per minute you actually talk. Agent plans add credits every month, and while you’re on a plan you can top up any time. Credits never expire.
Is there a free plan?
Yes. New accounts get 5 credits and the agent sends your first 5 applications for free — no credit card. It’s one free plan per person: a second account doesn’t get it again. To keep the agent applying after that, pick an Agent plan.
Do I need Studio Pro to use the agent?
No. Agent plans run the agent, and on any of them you can switch on tailoring: a resume and cover letter made for each job, for 3 credits per application instead of 1. Studio Pro is the hands-on writing kit — tailored resumes at no credit cost (the agent’s too, up to 30 a day), cover letters and 50 credits a month for Dojo practice. It doesn’t include the auto-apply agent on its own, and drops to $12/month when you bundle it with an Agent plan.
How much control do I keep?
All of it. “Ask me first” sends nothing without your approval. “Smart” only auto-applies above the match score you choose and puts the rest in your Decide deck. “Full auto” is hands-off. Switch any time.
Will it make things up on my resume?
No. Tailoring reorders and rephrases what is already true about you and highlights relevant skills. It never invents experience, degrees or employers.
Which sites does it apply on?
It finds openings posted across the web and applies on company career pages and the hiring systems behind them, such as Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby and SmartRecruiters. It never signs in as you: when a site needs your own account or login, like LinkedIn Easy Apply or Workday, the application comes to you with a direct link.
Do you offer student discounts?
Yes. Verify the email your university or school gave you in Profile with a code we send to it — we recognise .edu and .ac addresses and universities worldwide, and check others by hand — and every plan is 50% off, at every renewal for as long as that subscription runs. One school email works for one account, top-up packs are full price, and it doesn’t combine with other offers.
How does the referral program work?
Share your invite link from the Invite friends tab. When a friend signs up through it and subscribes to a plan, you both get 50 credits. Until they subscribe, the invite shows as pending. You can earn up to 500 credits from invites; your friend’s 50 credits don’t count toward that limit. Plans an admin gives for free don’t trigger it.
Can I cancel or get a refund?
Cancel any time from settings and your plan simply won’t renew — you keep your plan and every credit until the end of the period, and unused credits never expire. All purchases are final: we don’t offer refunds after you buy. If something isn’t working or you were billed in error, write to us and we’ll fix it. The details are in our Terms.
